The best way and easiest to enter Iran is Haj Omaran - Piranshahr crossing. Remember you must have all the required papers like the tourist visa. You cannot get visa at the border. But you can apply for transit visa in the Iranian consulate in Erbail.
You can use minibuses and taxis on the Iranian side.
