nomads (Traditional Iranian Dance)

Many tourists are fond of visiting nomads when they are in Iran. As nomads are on the move most the time, few travelers get the chance to visit them. Their lif style is even attractive for Iranians who are stuck in  the hustle bustle of city life.

One of the interesting traditional customs of nomads is their dance at special ceremonies such as wedding parties. Iran Travel service has caught some unique but short moments of such an event on video.

The video shows kids and very young girls dancing in a ceremony in a village near Firouz Abad south of Shiraz. The girls are descendants of settled nomads from an Iranian Turk tribe. The dress and style of dancing is the same as moving nomads.

It is indeed a rare opportunity which may never happen to you when you travel in Iran so don't miss it.
