Day1

Arrival in Tehran - Transfer to the hotel

In the afternoon, visit the famous Golestan Palace recalling the last years of monarchy in Iran and gaze at its marvelous royal items

Day2

Tehran

In the morning, walk through centuries of civilization starting from prehistoric era to the more recent post Islamic period in the Iran Archeological museum. Visit the Iranian treasury; items from years of monarchy at Jewelry Museum, alternatively gaze at the original art of Persian carpets in the Carpet museum

Walk through the busiest bazaar in Iran; Tehran bazaar.

Fly to Shiraz and be transferred to the hotel to have a refreshing rest

Day3

Firouz Abad - Shiraz

d11Drive to Firooz Abad to the south of Shiraz to see the Sassanid Palace and drop in on Nomads amazing and traditional life style in 21st century.

In the afternoon visit the beautiful Eram Garden, take your time walking through its diversity of trees, enjoying the most comprehensive kinds of roses and gaze at the picturesque painting of the central building. Later in the evening visit the 3rd holiest shrine in Iran, Shahcheragh Shrine, and take a look at the amazing glass work inside the dome.

Day4

Shiraz

d5Visit the tomb of the most famous Persian poet, Hafez; walk through the garden and see the wonderful canopy and recite some inspiring poems of Hafez in a divine atmosphere

Next go to the tomb of the other world famous poet Saadi which has an amazing mixture of the azure dome and red stones on the walls.

Visit Naranjestan (sour orange garden); a house belonging to one of most famous nobles of Shiraz with eye-catching replicas in courtyard and elegant paste-work in the rooms.

In the afternoon, visit Vakil complex including the bazaar, vakil mosque with special tile work and the old Vakil bath. Spend an hour in the corner of an old Caravansary (Sareye Moshir) which has now changed into antique shopping center.  Have some thirst-quenching ethnic desert from Shiraz. Walk through narrow old allies toward Madrese Khan, an old religious school, with splendid entrance hall and carving on the walls, which is still used for educating clergymen.

Day5

Shiraz

d4Drive towards the most magnificent structure in the Persian land, Persepolis.

Stop at the city entrance gate to see the famous Quran Gate. After spending some hours in elegant palaces of Persepolis, drive a few kilometer further to Necropolis (Naghsh e Rostam) where you can see the tomb chambers of Achaemenian Emperors dug into the mountain and spectacular carvings of the Sassanid’s dynasty depicting their victories over Romans.

Drive to Isfahan and get transferred to the hotel

Isfahan

d9In the morning, visit Isfahan’s famous Imam or Royal Square. Honor the amazing Alighapoo, the picturesque Imam mosque with unique tile work and the elegant Sheikh Lotf Allah mosque. The magnificence of the royal square will keep you motionless, gazing at the beauties of Safavid architecture.

In the afternoon, visit Jolfa quarter, a neighborhood where Christians live. Then go to have a look at Vank Church which takes you to picturesque Roman churches in Europe.

In the Evening, walk on Isfahan’s most famous bridge, Si-o-se-pol, stand beside the river or perhaps sip some Iranian tea at the teahouse. Then go to see another famous bridge Khajoo bridge.

Day7

Isfahan

d8In the morning, visit another masterpiece of Safavid art, Chehel Sotoun (palace), then move on to visit a unique shaking structure in the world, Menar Jonban or shaking towers.

The Afternoon is at leisure to review the numerous beauties of Isfahan which cannot be covered in days.
